Today I spent 5 hours (!) at CD Outlet. For those of you who don’t know, CD Outlet is essentially where all the overflow CDs that don’t sell at CD Warehouse go to. I ended up buying 6 albums (for only 20 dollars total!). One was T99 - “Children of Chaos” which is about the coolest thing I’ve heard in a long time. Too bad it was their only album. I can’t believe I wasted so much time there today though. I found a lot of weird stuff including a Buddhist-monk-style chant CD of songs such as “The Monkees Theme” (“Hey, Hey! We’re the Monks! People say we monkey around! But we’re too busy chanting, to put anybody down!") and even Smells Like Teen Spirit. Didn’t get it, but I’ll buy it next time though.
